Skype for iPhone
I don't get all of the excitement for the upcoming skype for the iPhone. I have an iPhone and think it's probably the best piece of electronics I've ever bought and I have and use Skype but I have no need or see any desire in using the program for the iPhone. First off, the thing I like best about Skype is the ability to have a video conference with someone. Besides that I don't use it for anything. That feature is not going to be on the iPhone version. I could see how being able to use Skype on the iPhone would help you not use up all of your phone minutes but you can only use the program over wi-fi. I'd say the chances of me being someplace where there is accessible wi-fi and having the need to talk to someone over Skype are slim to none. In that situation i'd probably just use my phone, or if I was at home use my computer to have a video conference over Skype.

Thai Food
I have a very odd thing with Thai food. Although it's one of my favorites I always for some reason I always forget this when I'm deciding where to go out to eat. It's not like there are bad Thai food restaurants in Richmond, they're about as good as the ones where in Los Angeles. I always know when I want pizza and know that I'll like it. I eat at Mexican places way too often here even though I know it's going to be awful. Yet every time I eat Thai food I like it a lot and think it's one of the best tasting foods I eat yet I never think of eating it. The only thing that I could compare this to would be if every night when I go to brush my teeth I'm surprised that my toothpaste is minty. It's like I have some mental block in my head that makes me forget that Thai food is my favorite. Maybe it has something to do with getting food poisoning while I was in Chaing Mai, but that's another story altogether...
